Walk With a View
The plan when I left the house was to find somewhere in the city to walk and get some steps in before I went shopping. The closer I got to the city, the less I wanted to walk through there for a second day in a row. Instead, I drove beyond the center of Concord, NH to the outskirts and went for a walk in Winant Park. Pretty much every step of the way I was second guessing my choice. I was wearing sneakers, not boots or even hiking shoes, just sneakers. Thankfully, there were enough areas without ice and snow that I was able to get to the overlook and not have to turn around due to slipping. Here are other happy snippets from my day: Along the trail were what I called little Christmas trees when I was little too.
