2022 Happy To Be Here

For a short time I sat out on Gideon's swing and looked up at the leaves blowing with occasional sun and sky peeking through.  The road nearby can still be loud, but it feels further away in this part of the yard. The shade and breeze almost had me forgetting how hot it really was outside. Other happy things for today: Bel, Gideon, and I finished the puzzle I started just after Christmas. It is missing two pieces, but it is done. I am choosing to remind myself that I am happy I have a job with good benefits. That I am happy I only have a 30 hour work week. About three months ago I stopped eating gluten. Over the weekend I was blessed to have people to make food for me. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication and I had pancakes with gluten. It happened, and I didn’t get sick from the reintroduction to my system. I have heard that can happen even if a person isn’t gluten sensitive. So I have been eating limited amounts of gluten again. Here’s to fairly relaxing days! It is weird being exposed to covid to the point that I feel I should have it by now. There have been passing exposures, but none like this where I spent hours in a car with someone who presented with the symptoms a few days later. With two of the four of us having tested positive at this point it seems like it should be inevitable, but who knows? Because of this, I toggled my day between work and relaxing. I started by playing a computer game this morning, that was fun. Other  happy  things from today: Part of the morning and part of the afternoon I spent mowing and doing some yard work. This will make me feel better, if I get sick, knowing that the yard isn't as much of a mess. I noticed baby grapes and baby raspberries while I was out.  I didn't mow them all down. In the evening I sat down with the puzzle that I haven’t worked on for months. I love that I can roll it up to store it. It was a relaxing way to finish the evening. ☮ Curren...

 The order for the FitBit charger was delayed.  It was supposed to be here today and now will not be here until Friday.  I decided to look one more time where it should be and there it is.  I looked there at least four times and moved the black headband that the black charger was on top of at least twice.  I am not sure how I missed it.  It doesn't matter, it is found now.  There was five percent left on the battery and my step count for the day was reached before I found the charger.  I am so very happy that I found it.  I am also happy that there will be additional ones coming soon so that I might not have this problem again.  Other things I am happy for today: For Christmas I received a roll up puzzle mat and a new puzzle to do.  Gideon, Keziah, and I started the puzzle today.  We all enjoy doing puzzles.  Being able to roll up the puzzle to put it away will hopefully make it easier for us to do more of them.
