Friendsgiving
The SCA household I belong to got together for a “friendsgiving” — an early holiday meal so we had an excuse to get together. We invited a few others to join us as well. It was a fun gathering. Here are some happy things from today: Our gracious host painted jars of jelly and a wine glass for each of us to take home with our SCA arms on them. A lovely keepsake. A few of us went for a walk before dinner. Our hostess brought us to what is left of a house foundation and a fireplace. There were rusting remnants of what may have been furniture and a pail nearby. The house we visited is in a beautiful location on a small pond. I'm pretty sure a good time was had by all.
