Baronial Birthday

We had an SCA event today to celebrate the Barony being 35. I think I did better with people than the last event, but I still need to work on it. We also chose our new Arts and Sciences Champion. Turtles

Once again I find myself awake too long on a Monday. Soon I will sleep and it will be good. Happy things from today include: The plumber came and fixed what we thought was wrong. Unfortunately, a new problem presented itself. Now we are trying to replace the faucet but it is rusted to the sink. I'm happy the leak we had is fixed, the rest of the house has hot water again, and I got some of the dishes cleaned. My friend Amy and I met for a nice walk this afternoon. We saw some turtles sunning themselves.   Thursday I leave for Texas… I might have all my clothes packed. Wow! Keziah and Gideon took some time today to practice buffer weapon fighting. Gideon is excited to get back into children's SCA fighting. ☮ Currently reading:  Pocketful of Miracles: Prayer, Meditations, and Affirmations to Nurture Your Spirit Every Day of the Year , Joan Borysenko.
