Built a Fence-Sort of

This morning Keziah and I helped some friends get some items out of the SCA Baronial storage unit for an upcoming event. One of these friends is the person that I like to geocache with. We took a few minutes and found a geocache that was in the area. I really should go geocaching more often. There was a lovely tree in bloom near the cache. Other happy things from today: I made it into the front yard today to see the flowers. Somehow the front of the house seems to get the least amount of attention. With the beginning of the yard clean up time of year, I decided to make a different place for yard waste. I mowed down a bunch of Japanese knotweed and put up a partial fence. That is where I’ll be dumping most of the leaves and grass clippings this season. I am pleased with my progress. Sometimes, what is needed to get a job done are the right tools. During this whole sink, faucet, plumbing fiasco one thing that I realized over and over was the importance of tools. This plumbing problem had gone on long enough. First the drain, then the shut off valve, then the faucet needing to be replaced. The faucet was rusted together and the WD 40 didn't help to loosen the screw holding the faucet to the sink enough. So I pulled out the big tools-power. I pulled out the skill saw and with Zed's help sawed off the faucet. We now have a shiny new working faucet. 💪 With the plumbing problem no longer draining my time and energy, I went outside to check on the spring plants. The daffodils and tulips should be blooming soon.
