Re-Warping Thursday
At work today I learned how to assist drivers in loading the merchandise for delivery. The result was that I was very tired. My step count for the day was over 37,721. For some perspective, back in April of 2021 I walked from Concord, NH to Canterbury, NH, about 16 miles, for a total that day of 37,811 steps. My feet are feeling better now, possibly because of the sandals that TF got for me last month. I'm still very grateful for those. Other happy things for today:
- The back door was accidentally left open and one of the cats got out. He didn't go far and came right back in when asked. Then I went searching for the other cat, Nanni. I didn't find her upstairs and then Gideon let me know that she was asleep on the bridge. She was basking in the rising heat of the room.
The bridge is sagging a little. |
- There was frost on the car when I went out to go to work this morning. There are still Christmas lights in the trees and they looked pretty through the frost.
- Day four of the A&S challenge and I considered stopping. Instead, I pulled out a different loom that wasn't quite set up and took an hour to get it ready to weave. The weaving will be another time. I ran into some tangles, shuffles, and loose threads that shouldn't be loose. However, once I find a shuttle I will be able to weave on that loom, Yay!
- After work, and before watching WandaVision with the family, I took a nap. It was wonderful. Watching WandaVision with the family was also wonderful. We finished the last episode and I have to admit, I cried.

Thank you for being part of my happy things. Stay safe.
