Again, plumbing did not go as planned. In the past I have worked with copper pipes and used a product called Sharkbite to make connections. Supposedly what we got for Sharkbites will also work with the Pex pipes that are under the kitchen sink. They didn't for us. A plumber will be here tomorrow. Part of my day was spent on this last attempt to fix this problem under the kitchen sink. Here are some
happy things from today:
- After lunch I went to the studio to do my taxes. It was the best place to go for quiet, space, and I could use two monitors if needed. I was able to finish them and I will be getting a refund. Not a lot, but enough to cover the plane tickets to Texas I bought two weeks ago. Yay!
- While at the studio a person from the SCA came by, as well as Keziah, to go through some of our SCA Baronial gifts for ideas. These are gifts for us to give. The goal was to find ideas for what other things we could use as gifts that people could make. It was fun to get to talk with her. It has been a long time since I've been able to talk with some people.
- In the evening we had a twilight egg hunt for Gideon. Zed and his mom had hid some eggs and used battery operated tea lights to help zero in on the location. He had a lot of fun looking for them in the backyard.
