Stone Arch Bridge

The first errand I had today was to drive to meet someone to give them some favors to embellish and put together for me. We had a nice short visit. She recently acquired a small loom and had no idea how to use it. Since it wasn't a style of loom I have used before, I loaned her some books to help out. That was my first visit with a friend today. Other happy things from today include:

  • When choosing the place to meet the friend I noticed a stone arch bridge on the map nearby. I took a short walk to it. The bridge was open to foot traffic only..

  • The afternoon was spent playing Minecaft with TF. This was a nice phone visit with a friend. We battled monsters and moned precious stones and had fun.
  • In the evening, Gideon went to visit a friend and the adults went to a bar to celebrate a person’s 21st birthday. It was loud, and my anxiety was real, but once a few people started talking directly to me the evening went much better. So more friends, some that I hadn't had the chance to talk with in a while. This gathering was our community looking out for and celebrating with a young person, in a responsible way (designated drivers and moderation). Other than the 21 year old, everyone else ranged in ages over 30 to at least 57 (I'm not sure if I was the oldest one there or not). It takes a village…
