Weaving the Day Away
It feels like most of the day I spent weaving. I didn't. I meant to time how long I did weave for but I kept forgetting to pause the timer or to turn it back on. I've almost finished the first green and white band I'm working on. It got too late with too many distractions for me to work on the last design. In the picture below, the section to the left of the first castle I did three year ago. The castle and to the right I did yesterday and today.

Other happy things from today include:
- Keziah and I had a meeting with the event coordinators for the event next weekend. After going over the schedule and some other things I feel more prepared for it.
- Aesop, our dog, thought he wanted to go for a walk today but I struggled to get him to move once we were outside. It was still a nice walk. We came home through the back of the property. I don't think I've been out there since spring so the trail was overgrown. I've missed it and look forward to spending more time out there as the weather cools.
- One of the signs of late summer and early fall are the berries on the Canada mayflower plants. According to the internet, the ripe berries are edible and high in vitamins A and C. I'm not quite that adventurous at the moment. They are a lovely splash of red along the forest floor.
